Home Depots sells another brand but they don't keep them in stock so ordering overnight from Amazon got it here faster.

Baking soda and salt dries out fleas and their eggs, much like diatomaceous earth works. The baking soda/salt is better for outdoor use because diatomaceous earth is SO light, the slightest outdoor breeze blows it away. I found that out so I use that indoors.

Adding the salt can be an problem when using it outdoors but the area I plan to 'dust' is a garden I want to mostly clear, anyway. It's right next to the house and I want to fence off that particular section and turn it in to a Zen area for me.
