2. Sorry! I'm here!!!

I've been feeling a little 'down'. And been spending lots of time with a lap full of kidcats who are doing their BEST to distract me from my seasonal/holiday sadness.

Like, for instance, Gryff. Last night he knocked the cable box to the floor so he could have extra room to stretch out and beg for tummy scritches. Or Sian, who did a most impressive LEAP to the kitchen counter, to check on why it was taking me SO LONG to dish up their breakfast.

Carys, who has been spending LOTS of time on the cat tree, just staring at me.

And, of course, Madoc and Arthur. I can't move an inch without them following me.

The outdoor babies are doing just fine and spending lots of time in the enclosed porch. They all come running when I open the door and swarm every dish as I spoon out their food. Dylan, Rhys, Rhian and Bronwyn are always happy to get a scritch and a kiss.

Admittedly, this year has been particularly hard on me with not just the holiday sadness but also a growing fear of what next year, especially next November, will bring. It's a hard time for someone with anxiety, that's for sure.
