(696 posts)29. She was in a very crowded and noisy shelter, so having all this new space to explore must seem very strange.
Im trying not to be too much in her way as she explores the house, and she is exploring everything now. I didnt know cats could take so long to adjust, or needed a place of their own so thank you for mentioning those things.

My cat did that when I first brought him home, I panicked because I couldn't find him!
