1. Family issues? I know a lot of people have to deal with that during the holidays.

I seem to live in a different world than most of my family. Most of them don't appear to think too deeply about anything. If they do, they choose not to speak of it in favor of ball games and gossip. There are probably much worse ways to pass a Thanksgiving, I suppose.
