She is a 13 year old girl and I worry about her self image constantly. I do not want her to be over weight, but I also do not want her to fixate on this so much that she goes to the other extreme and develops an eating disorder. Due to her MI, she is always prone to extremes, with little self control. We are constantly walking a fine line to keep her stable. As her doctor told us, puberty for her will consist of the same things all girls experience, but multiplied by 1000.

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes it is nice to have the support of others facing similar problems.
