19. you'll b so happy when your teeth r good.

i’ve had so much work done in the last 4 yrs. it cost me $10k in 20. thought i was insured, but wasnt.
i just had the 1st fitting for the last bit- new molars. i’ve got no top molars atm, and man will i b happy to chew again. pretty sure it’s not a coincidence that i’m having bad gut issues rn.
i hate teeth. they’re so stupid. they shd either heal, like the rest of the body, or we shd get more than 2 sets. i’m my father’s daughter in almost every way, but i got my mom’s teeth. he had his 1st filling at 60. he had a perfect smile. they were white despite a 3 pack a day habit.
my mom lost the last of hers at 50. course, she’s the 1 that had 7 babies, but still. she suffered w dentures almost half her life.

it helps that my dentist is adorable. father and son practice. stayed w pops for decades cuz i had a crush. lol. got bumped to the son, something that i discovered in quite hilarious fashion.
pops is an irish history buff. gonna grab him for the weekly irish singalong at the brewpub down the block some tuesday soon.
