5. It's mostly a holiday issue

It's the time of year I miss all of the family I've lost, which is a lot. Some right at the holidays. One of them not to death but to estrangement. Others that made the holidays special. It's so difficult to put on a happy face but I have to because my house is pretty much the epicenter for getting together. Everyone else's houses are in the process of serious renovations.

Top that off with me absolutely hating Winter weather. I constantly worry about another power outage like the week long one in 2013, when I got carbon monoxide poisoning. All I have to read are the words 'ice storm' and I start to panic.
