if I don't watch light, classic comedies on TV I harm myself. My blood pressure is normally very low but I turn red when I allow horrible realities of human life into my emotions for too many hours at a time. I am a misanthrope and have no love or hope for humans. I must read funny books and watch funny movies and TV shows or I would have jumped off a bridge 30 years ago. For a long time I would only get my "news" from Jon Stewart/Daily Show since after watching the MSNBC/CNN news I would grow irate in a nanosecond. However, I must admit that Keith Olbermann's program "Countdown" did help me to blow off steam.
