I do live in a state where marijuana is legal for medicinal purposes, but I think my pain doctor is the type who disapproves of it, and would rather have me take a narcotic, which makes no sense to me. Come July, it will be legal here in Oregon for recreational use, but legal shops apparently won't open until January, 2016. In the meantime, I will either have to ask a different doctor or see if the CBD works: I don't want to get high, just to get pain relief so that i can go back to doing research. I know that they sell it in Washington, but it is a risk for an Oregon resident to re-enter the state with any kind of pot purchased in Washington.
