My second MRI [View all]

Turns out, I'm not really as claustrophobic as I thought I would be, as in, not at all. I took the meds but lorazepam must not work for me, because they might as well have been sugar pills.

So, this Friday, I have my second MRI, this time of the spine, instead of the brain. My brain is pristine. Yay. I bet those of you with MS know why I'm having an MRI of the spine. It turns out I have peripheral neuropathy, not enough for me to feel numb but enough that I can't tell where my feet are if I'm not looking at them. So we now know why I tangled my feet and broke my shoulder. What we don't know is why I have the peripheral neuropathy, being as I'm not diabetic. I'm trying to prepare for MS. I don't want to get broadsided and I haven't been able to find any other explanation. I'm open to a better explanation but I would prefer not to have a worse one.

Seems reasonable, right?
