Others here have offered great advice.

I think I have "chemo brain" from a combination of stress, medications, chemo itself, and being sedentary, not to mention the chemo itself, cancer itself, and aging itself.

I understand what you're saying about communication. That is tricky and different for everyone. From what you've said, it sounds like she doesn't want you to offer help before she asks for it -? And if so, that could change.
