I was reading that red light therapy (NIR) was also therapeutic. They sell caps on Alibaba at 850 and 960 nm. According to this study-"808 nm light exhibited the deepest penetration into the brain, reaching depths of 40–50 mm" This was done on cadaver brains. Other parts point to higher wavelengths.
