to them, there's nothing that's a spectrum. EVERYTHING either IS or it ISN'T. They have to be able to put things into little identifiable boxes. And if something won't fit, it gets destroyed, thrown away, or disgraced. These people don't do nuances. More's the pity; I never knew an abnormally large amygdala could impact one's ability to actually think... even think critically... but evidently, it does. Because they only thing they know, understand, and live under (other than their Master's voice), is fear.
