Trust Israel? Well, travel down that road at that time and get bombed and killed by Hamas -- who now know where and when to do this.
Distrust Israel? Well, stay where you are and get bombed and killed by Israel some time later who will wash their hands of it because they warned you.

Either way, it is your own damn fault you got bombed and killed, according to whoever did it.
