The closest city with a complete array of shopping and medical services is 20 miles away. Until there is a viable mass transit system within walking distance of my home, just how would I get there?

There is an Amish population a little further away in another direction. Perhaps I should travel with a horse and buggy like they do, although my HOA would not let me stable it in my garage.
