are a sign of the End Times. It's not the fossil-fuel companies, or their climate-denialist politicians who are at fault -- it is God's plan for the destruction of the godless (Democrats), and the reward for the godfearing (Republicans).
It is self-fulfilling prophesy on a grand scale (except for the 'reward' part).
