That's unambiguously true.

Their 12 month average German carbon intensity is 372 grams CO₂/kWh compared to France's 41 grams CO₂ according to Energy Maps.

I wouldn't characterize German "Greens" as people concerned with the extreme global heating we are now experiencing. From my perspective they couldn't care less.

The unfortunate reality is that by associating liberal politics with so called "renewable energy" and the sucessful rise of antinuclear ignorance, we have reduced our credibility.
