because we did itemize our deductions (large dental bills not covered by Delta Dental).

But it does say, on line 9, in bold: Standard deductions or itemized deductions (from Schedule A)

Oh, and it does have a Standard deductions chart at the bottom. Yes, they made it a "postcard size" which, I complained before, had tiny fonts... so now they increased the font and added the chart at the bottom.
