2. I had a BlackBerry Storm before my iPhone

That Storm was a piece of junk. I was so happy to get an iPhone, which is better in every respect. Even now after several version upgrades it still runs great. I had to do a battery pull every other day with a BlackBerry because of its crappy memory management scheme otherwise it would freeze up, I think I've rebooted the iPhone less than a dozen times this year.

The camera was a piece of junk on the BlackBerry. Unless conditions were perfect the image quality was not good. With the iPhone, while it's not a replacement for my regular camera, even the 5 megapixel iPhone camera takes pretty good pictures. When I was on vacation and didn't feel like lugging my regular camera around I just took my iPhone and used its camera.
