1. I have posted quite a bit on Fb, but I have never received such a notification.

Lately, I trimmed down the number of posts on my profile page. I did so by deleting the ones which I no longer wanted, but I copied the portions which I authored and saved them to my portable storage device. For me, having my Fb profile page display only a few recent posts is the best approach.
