7. How would the 2026 MN Democratic Gov/Lt Gov ticket do with Omar on the ticket as Lt Gov?

Omar can use the Lt Governors position as a stepping stone to run for the US Senate.
Ellison is one of the leading Democratic candidates for MN Governor along with Lt Governor Peggy Flanagan, Secretary of State Steve Simon, and Auditor Julie Blaha.
Simon won 3 statewide election, Secretary of State in 2014,2018,and 2022. Simon won the 2018 and 2022 MN Secretary of State Election by a 9 percent margin.
Ellison and Blaha won their statewide elections in MN by a narrow margin(less than 1 percent).
Flanagan was Governor Walz’s runningmate in 2018 and 2022. Flanagan is a Native American, community organizer, and was a member of the Wellstone Action. Flanagan has worked on Wellstone’s last US Senate campaign.
A Flanagan/Omar Governor/Lt Governor ticket in 2026 will be an exciting ticket.
