Wednesday

We have a "lake" that's really a river surrounded by a bunch of bars in a densely populated city. I spent the better part of the 80s and 90s playing in bar bands in Fort Lauderdale. I even knew of one person who left a bar that I frequently played at. He had too much to drink one night and staggered across the road. He was only about 25 years old when he fell into the canal and drowned. Now I'm not saying there are no murder victims here, but I think the main culprit is probably just excessive alcohol consumption.
