1. Just got back from Nashville. No wonder service was so bad in the restaurants...no kitchen workers left. Killing...

...the economy, one deportation or detainee at a time. I was actually spending a lot of time away from downtown on a construction project to help my stepson. It took me to areas of the city not of much interest to tourists and the landscape looked bleak. Lots of businesses looked marginal with few cars in the parking and lot and many just empty commercial properties. I was gobsmacked looking for a place to get pizza or Mexican food at 10PM on a Friday night after a long work day and finding they all close by then. Thankfully Dutch Bros. coffee was still fully functional if oversubscribed. Must be short of workers too as one day I placed my order and they gave it to me for free as they said my wait was too long.
