7. Terrible. With a rip tide you swim further out

and then parallel to the beach until you are out of it. Then you swim back in to shore. There should be signs posted as to how to conduct yourself should you get caught in one. Also, just don’t swim when the riptide warnings and posted. I have lost count of how many tourists have died in Florida from riptides, lightning and snake bites.
