He colluded with the GOP via the IDC, which were Dems in name only and caucused with the GOP and stalled many progressive reforms. This was only fixed by grassroots effort to target the IDC and that was able to primary 7 or those 8 fake Dems. Then Coumo started talking somewhat progressive, while still supporting big business and landlords in the back ground. He was also supporting the ill-concieved Penn Station expansion Office Tower MegaDevelopment.
