OMAHA -- The president of the Westside teachers union said Monday it’s important that the students who fed a teacher semen-laced frosting face serious consequences.
“The Westside Education Association is deeply concerned with any violence perpetuated against teachers and other school employees,” union President Michael Fryda, a Westside High science teacher, said in a written statement. “What happened at Westside High School was not a harmless prank and it should not be treated as such.”
Fryda said the union is working with Westside administrators to address the incident.
“Our members know we are here to assist them — and that we respect their privacy when they do contact us,” he continued.
