Far more than ten times. People can drive drunk on a regular basis for years without being caught. Raising the limit for blood alcohol is allowing people to drive "a little drunk."

The law should send the message, "Get caught driving drunk and you are going to fuck up your life." It is a great deterrent. Getting a "Get out of jail card" for a single instance of DUI is an invitation.

It is a bad idea.
