Molly Bish murder case to receive enhanced DNA testing.... [View all]

Twenty-four pieces of evidence collected by authorities investigating the murder of Molly Bish will be submitted for enhanced DNA testing in September, Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. said.

Early said in a news release that the pieces of evidence will be sent to a laboratory when the upgraded DNA tests become available this fall. Authorities did not disclose the specific types of evidence being sent.

The improved DNA testing could make degraded samples usable now.

"The science is always getting better," Early said. "We feel that the improved testing will help us in our efforts to identify Molly's killer or killers."
