Bevin tried to punish public universities with funding reductions for their Presidents speaking out against his initial funding reductions. He HATES our public universities. I wish he would get pissed off at the U.K. basketball program, then the SOB wouldn't get 20 votes in this state (He has already been trying to take over U of L, so he wouldn't even have rivalry support on that one).

I hadn't heard about what happened to this professor and I live right in Lexington. Bevin does not tolerate people speaking out against his policies, this chills me to the bone, Republicans these days despise democracy. Bevin is just Trump with complete sentences.
