except when we suffered from Bloggo as governator.

I had serious problems with the pay to play practice of buying a state office. What was the going rate? 40K per office?

On the other hand, I think Bloggo was also shafted. He did not commit a crime, he only considered it. He was prevented from using exculpatory tapes (which was a major shiv in his back by the judge) or presenting other evidence.

Still, I don't quite get how lobbying in Grundy County would cause any impact except on whether Funk, Pioneer, or DeKalb corn was used.
