I never understood why they sold snow shovels at the hardware stores sometimes and now I do know why. Mud is why.

Adding to my emergency kit: knee-high rubber boots, Matt, knife with extra blades, heavy duty, construction grade, Rubbish bags, and plenty of them.

Assorted other kinds of shovels good for digging mud

It is during these kind of events that we see loving action in our neighborhoods all over the islands. Remember the boat brigades coming to Maui from Moloka'i after the fires? We've got that kind of thing rolling now, but on land.

I don't know what the governor is saying or doing if anything I'm sure he's doing his best but the right wingers are out in full force bitching about whatever he isn't doing as if he could get us Fema money out of that maladministration.
