I’m told these are all bags from CANCELLED flights that never took off. So after someone checked in, and dropped off a bag - it has to come back here even though the plane never took off. Frustrated passengers say they’ve been waiting for hours

MAJOR problems at {National Airport} right now as flight cancellations and delays have piled up. One traveler just told me their flight was cancelled 5 times over 3 days. Airlines tell me there are staffing issues and the winter weather didn’t help. This is a SIGHT!
