2. I think Portland's real estate market has been just fine over the last 10 years.

For this entire century. Both SF and Portland have experienced some dips, but I believe Portland has out performed SF in the last ten years. About the same as my hometown and I’m guessing yours too. I can’t tell if it’s just a dig at PNW culture or just a throwaway comment about lefties in general?
