Arizona election 2022: 17K ballots rejected by machines on Election Day will be counted soon [View all]

Most major races in Arizona are still undecided, and updated vote totals won't be coming from Maricopa County until about 8 p.m. Wednesday. So no, we aren't there yet.

The deliberate counting process is all going according to election officials' plan because of the tens of thousands of ballots dropped off at vote centers on Election Day and the safeguards built into the vote counting process.

Expect vote updates from other counties and news updates throughout Wednesday after an Election Day marked by voting equipment glitches, ink-stained conspiracies and a lawsuit to extend polling hours.
