But yes, I do get my best shots out of my Nikkormat. Prime lens (with amazing optics), manual wind, no viewscreen…the aperture-priority auto exposure is nice, but that's literally all the convenience it has. Much thought put into each shot beforehand, since the cost of film and developing is over a buck a pop.

One of my favorite shots with that rig…busker in NYC.
