The junction of 30 and 283 is only a few miles northwest of Lancaster City. If you're ever that close again you might want take a rest from the highway and spend a couple of hours exploring Lancaster. The city is 300 years old and steeped in local and national history; has great restaurants, theaters, museums, parks and music venues; and hundreds of gorgeous 19th century and older homes.
