Reminiscing about my youth (I'm now 68)...I remember the Beatles arrival, my sisters had B&W Beatles cards...

2. I have about 400 of those cards.

I would have had none but I had an icky but persistent boy who wooed me with those cards and all the gum. Problem was I hated him, he was the son of someone famous in a bad way in our community . I have told this story many times but it has been a while and is very short and creepy.

I had known him through most of grade school. He was creepy. I don't know if he really was creepy or if it was because his whole, nutball family was. For lunch his family went out to a group of stores near by and sold crap to people for money for their family. Yes, the real Phelps family. Fred Jr. the oldest kid brought me handfuls of those cards for a long time. I don't imagine I ever even thanked him but he was used to that by then with the tactics their church used on everyone.

I kept them all these years. I doubt they are worth much but I have them.
