general view of AI when it comes to music and the artists it can potentially "rob" of their creative rights--likewise the consumers who may not know it was not created through a true human creative process. And that is generally a vehement dislike. That said, there was a country performer (Randy Travis? ) whose diseased physical state precludes him from performing but who had work in progress that he approved AI to complete using his voice. I may not have all those facts correct, but close. At any rate, I did not have an issue with that.

So, in keeping with that last point, I suppose when the artists involved ALL agree to its use AND openly and clearly indicate the AI inclusion, I am less disgusted about its use, but I still don't want it to become a "trend." In this case, it is more a one time "gimmick" for a band who, frankly has earned a lot of latitude given their longevity and the fierce loyalty TO and FROM their fans, so I'm not going to criticize their use of it in this instance.
