3. She Was A Sweetie

Just a little older than us, but not much. (We were still in HS when we first met them.)
They played a multi-act bill every Monday in the summer where I grew up. They played a couple times each summer, even after "Tell Me..." was a huge hit.
Circumstances resulted in us having backstage passes to every show for 4 or 5 summers, so we got to meet a lot of the bands from that era.
