But the number of safety features is ridiculous. We actually turn some of them off because they're intrusive and annoying.
It helped us save a little bit on insurance though. They seem to like that cars have all kinds of safety options included. Go figure!

Those damn little Corollas run for ever... 200,000 miles easy. Keep within your budget. Cars are a depreciating asset..

I'm suspicious of that mechanic's analysis. Can you get the opinion of a mechanic whom you have more reason to trust ?
