My son just sent me pictures of caterpillars on the dill plants in his herb garden. [View all]
They're Monarchs! We planted a bunch of wildflower seeds this spring, but none of the milkweed plants grew. Next spring we'll try milkweed again and increase the number of dill plants.
BTW, he doesn't use any pesticides around the garden or flower beds, so no worries there.
