Want to let you know that somebody hears you. You're broke, your dream job hasn't come through, and you have so little food you're not sure if you can eat through next week. That's a hard place to be in.
I used to have a job and through that job I met a woman who was in a similar situation as you. And I witnessed her start a relationship with the local church of latter-day saints and they treated her like a queen. Maybe because she was deaf they weren't able to preach to her much, but they did a lot of stuff for her. When she finally went to a church service, they started learning sign language and of course one or two people fell in love with her. Pretty soon they're, you know, helping her out, kind of adopting her. Sometimes help comes from the most unlikely places and you never know who you're going to meet if you reach out. And you just did.
