4. So precious. My Saint Bernards rescued a small feral black kitten in our backyard to protect her from predators.

She looked like a mini-panther with longish hair.

I name all my pets after mythical goddesses or gods. So this kitten was named after Minerva, goddess of medicine and magic. That was 14 years ago. Today, as an indoor-only kitty, “Minnie” is happy, beautiful, sweet, and has never been sick a day in all that time. She understands what I say, and is my cuddle buddy all night long — even if she has to squeeze in to find room among the fluffy comforter that’s being dominated by her siblings — one alpha American Eskimo pup and a kind and loving mini Saint Bernard.

Thank you so much, catbyte, for always sharing such wonderful animal videos.
