I was a workaholic but I took to retirement quickly. Since you just retired, you don't have to do anything right now so relax, unwind, and enjoy the next couple of weeks. Think about the things you like and liked to do and see if you want to do them in retirement. For me, I didn't have time for reading or bowling ( I used to have a 175 average and now I have a 199 and 203 average in two leagues) so I got myself a library card and joined a bowling league. There are a number of sports like bowling, tennis, pickleball which are too physically demanding but they're great for socializing. I'd also recommend volunteering in community organizations.

Retirement used to be for old people who'd sit at home and watch the world go by. Today, retirees like me are still active and not stuck at home. I have a couple of friends who are retired and their busier than ever either working with the organizations they joined or taking trips.

Enjoy your retirement.
