How about trampling the Constitution by kidnapping American citizens and law abiding immigrants who are legally applying for citizenship? How about beating innocent bystanders? How about breaking that guy's ribs? How about hauling naked children into the streets while traumatizing them in a way that will color the rest of their lives? How about "disappearing" hundreds like shithole brownshirts?

What's the opposite of "damning with faint praise?" Maybe "exonerating with watered down reporting of atrocities."
