Psikhushkas were psychiatric hospitals run by the KGB and used as prisons in the Soviet Union in which political opponents of the regime were held and tortured after Soviet health officials declared political dissent as a mental disease, often referred to as “sluggish schizophrenia,” as though that made any sense. A “healthier public square?” “Social unrest?” We’re all about to get soaked for $5 million to pay the family of a woman who got shot while engaging in “social unrest” by trying to climb through a smashed window next to the barricaded Speaker’s Lobby adjacent to the House Chambers on January 6. Davidson is a worse Orwellian than he is a Stalinist. And these people, every damn one of them, really are the mole people.
