Of course, if we'd used the power we had between 2020 and 2022, ended the filibuster, revised the judiciary act and packed the Supreme Court we could have brought his trial for insurrection to a much speedier conclusion, perhaps even with a court ruling, stopped the unconstitutional presidential immunity ruling they issued, made sure he was in prison and couldn't run again, and saved Roe at the same time. So much for vision, boldness and some risk taking, or saving the country from this existential threat to democracy. Now it's cleaning up the mess without a mop or bucket.
