.. if the votes were kept anonymous and private. If the Senators and Congressmen were to be reassured of anonymity, it would be an easy task, even a no-brainer.
However both impeachment trials against Chump (first term) were restrained by Mitch McConnell's insistence that every vote would be published by name on the TV screens. Therefore almost every Repuke (excepting Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and a few others) chickened out of voting against Chump.
They ALL KNEW he deserved to be removed from office, but very few had the guts to do it.
