and it's a war that continues to this day. Maybe if the NYT had held W to the barest standard that they're now trying to belatedly hold Trump to Bush would not have been able to get close enough in Florida to steal the 2000 election which the NYT also praised. Bush's 2000 election stealing is what made Trump possible.
