GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - President Trump is calling for former Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters to be released.
In a Truth Social post made Thursday, August 22, President Trump said Peters was “a brave and innocent Patriot who has been tortured by Crooked Colorado politicians.”
He goes on to say she is an old woman and is very sick.
President Trump says, “If she is not released, I am going to take harsh measures!!!”

Tina Peters is a 70-year-old grandmother and gold star mom, who has no criminal record. She was sentenced for 9 years and jailed even while appealing convictions for nonviolent crimes that involve observing a Dominion voting system upgrade.That was her job.
